The VIsual COmputing Laboratory (VICOLab) is located at the Department of Computing and Information Science (DISI) of the University of Genova, Italy. It hosts four groups whose research activity cover various aspects of visual computation, including signal processing, data modeling, and inference.

The lab team includes 9 permanent staff members (Professors and Senior Researchers), 8 PhD students in Computer Science and Physics, 9 PostDocs and Research Associates.

The lab is mainly funded by the Ministery of Education, University, and Research (MIUR), with PRIN and FIRB projects, and the EU, currently with two Networks of Excellence and one Integrated Project.
